10K FANCY DRESS - the maddest of Aran shenanigans!
The Inis “Iron” Meáin themed Fancy Dress and disco has now become a legendary affair. There is always a huge turnout and the effort and imagination put into costumes is simply fantastic! As a result, the competition for best fancy dress costume is always fierce. However, there can be only one winner of the €100 voucher. Last year’s fancy dress theme was based on a challenging 'Everything Aussie' and rest assured every possibility was ventured! It was a close call between the Ugg Boots and Miss Fosters but the Ugg Boots won out in the end for their originality and sheer creativity
10K FANCY DRESS 2013:
We've decided to 'Keep it Country' this year with 'All things Irish' being the well timed theme of the Fancy Dress. It's not going to be as easy as you think; our astute independent adjudicators will be on the prowl for originality and sharp-wittedness. There'll be plenty of saints and sinners crawlin' about (actually, not too sure about the saints!) but, remember to make the effort as wallflowers won't be looked keenly upon.
When God made time, he made planty of it so get your thinking caps on now, or you'll be as useful as an ashtray on a Honda 50! You can be rest assured you'll be as sick as a plane to Lourdes after the nights shenanigans, but sure isn't that what it's all about!?
